Safey First !
Cangelosi Ward General Contractors LLC employs a Safety Consultant for all our projects, Gulf South Safety, Mr. Daryl Cambre Ph 773-2109.
Gulf South Safety performs regular in-house safety inspections on every project we contract. Mr. Cambre also makes specific inspections of all scaffolding, fall protection, life lines, stepped or shored excavations, cranes, hoists, material lifts, etc. The superintendent and Mr. Cambre work hand in hand to ensure that every site is a safe work area.
On every project, the superintendent reviews the Company Safety Manual with our employees, conducts regular jobsite safety meetings and posts the regulated OSHA safety signage and emergency warnings throughout the site. OSHA regulated First Aid Kits and Fire Apparatus, MSDS sheets for all materials on site and our Emergency Safety Manuals also remain on site at all times.
The EMR Rating for the last (3) years is the following: 2005 = 0.91, 2006 = 0.92, 2007 = .081
